The topic of lovingkindness, as described here by Sharon Salzman in Real Love (p.18-19) as a set of actions we can take to strengthen a way of being where love is foundational (not the sticky sweet icing on the cake - which has its place) but as the landscape of connection, meaning, value, humanity. The ground, the soil nourishing and living in all that grows from it, and returns to it.

That’s what draws me in, and also makes me a bit uncomfortable…it’s too much, it’s kinda culty…and then, resonant, gently challenging / inviting —
